Privacy, in plain language

What we collect

• Your email address and whether you signed in with Google or an email link, so you can sign in.
• Your encrypted budget, which we store but can't read. See Security for how it's protected.
• Who you share a budget with: their email addresses, so everyone can see who has access.
• Your Plus subscription, if you have one: the plan, whether it's active, when it renews, and the customer number Stripe gives you. Never your card number.

What we don't collect

• Your budget itself: income, bills, balances, transactions and everything else you enter is encrypted before they leave your device.
• Your bank logins. Dollarz never connects to your bank.
• Advertising or tracking data. There are no ads, analytics or tracking pixels in Dollarz or on this website.

Who else is involved

• Google Firebase hosts the app and this website, handles sign-in, and stores your encrypted budget.
• Stripe processes Plus payments. When you subscribe, Stripe collects your name, email address, card and billing address, and handles them under its own privacy policy. Stripe never receives your budget.
• Cloudflare runs our domain name and forwards email sent to hello@dollarz.money to our inbox.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces, so your browser requests them from Google.
• Coinbase provides the bitcoin price shown in Growth and Net worth. Your browser asks for the public price only; nothing about you or your budget is sent.

We don't sell or share your information with anyone else.

Your choices

• Download your data any time from the menu in the app, as a backup file or a spreadsheet.
• Delete your account from the menu. It erases your budget and your account from Dollarz for good.
• Leave a shared budget, or remove someone from yours, whenever you like.
